I have 2 favorite authors who are at absolute opposite ends of the spectrum. I love VC Andrews books. Even though the real VC Andrews has passed on some years ago, they were able to find someone to write just like her, under her name using her stories as guidelines. Stephen King is another favorite. Love the thrillers he writes. I have been reading both of these authors since the early 80s and look forward to new books that come out.

i also love to read thrillers, especially dean koontz, because of his metaphors which are dark, chilling, and somewhat gothic.

Hi greenline, how are you my friend? I like Robert Ludlum too. I like the most The Rhinemann Exchange and The Holcroft Document. I like Frederick Forsyth too, he have a similar style. But I cannot tell you who is my favorite author because I like many types of literature so I like many authors the same way, each one in his type of writing.

My favorite author is BOb Ong. Hands DOwn. His books are fresh, witty, contreversial, and humorous. His topics are tuned to serious matters concerning politics, religion, education, and writing, yet the way he expresses his opinions are downright straight to the point and, believe it or not, has a point.
