What I am talking about is that stuff on the thights we all hate.....Cellulite. I do have this and I want to know what has helped get rid of yours. I am hoping to get some tricks and secrets here mabey even the product that helped you. I tend to use a shimmer lotion but that just helps to hide not remove.

Drinking lots of water, using a loofah, and eating fruits and veggies are all suppose to be good to get rid of cellulite. Also, I've heard that Palmer's cocoa butter is good for stretch marks. I wonder if it would work for cellulite?

I don't know if there is any products out there to get rid of cellulite. Like you said, the lotion just helps to hide it and I think thats what most of the products do. You can probably go see some kind of doctor that will do treatments on you to make it less noticeable.

I am fortunate--I don't really have any (yet). I used to use an anti-cellulite cream from Avon; I'll have to get it out again and use it on my butt (which tends to stay covered up anyway).

Yet give it time lol. Someone else mentioned Avon as well may have to spend some money on it one of these days.

I just gone doe reading the latest "Woman's World" magazine. It says a Pomegranate based skin cream works as a firming agent: "University of Michigan dermatologists found that it firms and tightens sagging, aging skin, thanks to its rich stores of ellagic tannin, a compound that reduces swelling and blocks skin-damaging inflammation." Then it goes on to suggest a product www.pomega5.com You can also turn your favorite lotion into a firming cream by adding a few drops of pomegranate seed oil to the bottle.

Thankfully, I do not have it, I do have many other problems but not that one.. I have worked about 35 years of my life standing or walking and I do think that has kept my legs looking and feeling young.. I don't think any over the counter lotions help it.. I am not sure if anything really does.. Good luck to you and hope you find some answers..

Sorry to tell you this but i'm not sure anything can get rid of it permanently, except liposuction. A good massage therapist may have some tips.

First, drink a lot of water and eat more fruit. Do some specific exercises for your tighs. And instead of buying an expensive treatment cream (I used Avon for several months and it was quite good) buy a regular cheap body cream and mix four or five tablespoons of it with half a cup of used up coffee grounds. You can keep the misture in the bathroom and rub hard your tighs, hips, bottom and belly with it, let it rest for one or two minutes and shower. It has been my choice for several months now and it worked faster than the Avon cream did.

Sorry, I've just noticed you're pregnant! Don't rub it on your belly then!
24 Jun 08
I read once to rub coffee beans all over it, supposedly some chemical in the beans reduces cellulite. Also, I head if you roll yourself with a rolling pin that will smooth the cellulite (however this must be done pretty often, the results aren't permanent). Hope this helps :).

Regular exercise will do the wonder. Jogging is great but if you can't jog just plain leg raising with variations done at least 30 minutes regularly will really help.

I hate mine too and it seems to run in the family , which sucks . My gram had it , but not my mom . My friend also has it and used this gel by nivea . I now used it and it works wonders . Se results after 2 weeks, and after 4 their is a difference.
