how many would choose giving birth without drugs for the pain?

Im getting an epidural. Im a big baby and cant do it again without this. The last two I just had oral meds and that sucked. I knoe people who did it all naturally and I think they are crazy I couldnt do that.

I have had three babies, and three different levels of pain with all there deliveries. What I would do if I was you is this. If you want to have your baby without pain medication than do it, but talk with your doctor about the option of having something handy if you need it. With my second child I didn't have pain until her head started coming out. I was dialated to 8cm and didn't even know I was close to delivering. With my third child I was at 3 1/2cm and was writhing in agony. I've heard it said that each pregnancy is different and the pain is different. In my case I'm inclined to agree. With my first I was in Lala land because they put me to sleep due to hypertension so I never had any pain. Do what's best for you, your the one delivering.
