A new version of chess?

If a new and completely revolutionary version of chess came out on the market, would you buy it? In my opinion, chess has gotten boring and since all the strategies have been figured out and a good player knows them all, that it is now just a game of chance, hoping that your opponent will slip up. What if there was a skill needed to win chess?

I guess I have to contend myself first with this old one. I'm still a beginner and kind of starting to like the game. Maybe until such time that I can already figured out all the strategies and be a good player, then maybe I can shift to the new version. For now I'm still enjoying it.
