My favorite game..the Chess.I was chosen as a national player when I was in high school.I love this game since it helps my brain thinks faster, however, the side effect of this game for me is,I was always remember the moves in my mind so seems like I was thinking something and could not concentrate in other things.Specially if I've got a very wrong move ever on the game. How about you guys?Do you love chess game?

i love this game! I play in varsity teams too...
Most of the guys think they're better at it. But they can't say that anymore after I've beaten them. ha ha.

my b/f does. he's played it for hehe years. and he's very good at it. he can beat anybody in it. I never have learned it though. i couldn't sit there and play it like he can. I'm good to sit there and play checkers that long, much less chess. he told me some stories about him and his chess buddy that he use to play. he would get tickled at his chess buddy when he'd beat his chess buddy all the time. he said that he'd beat him so bad, that his buddy would get very emotional. LOL
how long have you played chess? My b/f said that he played chess since he was 15 years old. now, 36. :)

I used to lay chess often when I was in High school. Like you, Im always thinking of the moves eventhough Im doing other things.
I used to play it with my cousins and friends beside our little store. Chess is a good past time. It cost not even a cent and its safe.
The chess federation should have more propaganda so that chess playing will prosper again. I think Wesley So, the youngest Grandmaster in the country could lead the way.

I know how to play chess... but it has been a long time since i played that board game... a very good friend thought me how to play this game... and that is the reason why he is very dear to me... i know i can be very good at it... if i would only practice... but i don't have any opponent right now... when my baby is old enough... i will teach her this game... and the two of us can practice all the time... thanks for the response...

hi agi.
used to play chess but never competitively. learned the game from my father and i rememeber we use to spend evenings just palying. i also play chess with my younger brother and a couple of uncles. i think everyoen in the family is into chess. we have a number of chess boards so multiple games can go at it at the same time.
come to think o fit, chess is really a good past time. definitely better than the mindless video games we have right now.

I love the game the game of Chess and i played it before. However, when I attended college and I got busier I stopped playing the game already.
I'm so happy I married my husband because Chess is one of his passions, he's very good at it.
Now we have a 14-year old son who also like to beat chess players in our family (including his Grandpa--my father).
I agree with you, Chess is a very good mental game.
Happy posting!
