How should a beginner start doing yoga

i'm interested in Yoga and would like to buy some DVDs so i can start doing at home--can anyone who's experienced with Yoga give me any tips for buying the right DVD?

Denise Austins' Fat Blasting Yoga. i do it 3-6 times a week and i love it! it's almost adicting!plus you'll lose about 12 pounds in the first 3 weeks of doing it regularly

I do not use DVD for yoga. But I can say you that there are many books available in the market where from you can by any books to learnt yoga. I use the text books of Nikanto Moni for my yoga practice.

Regarding the DVD that you asked, i think the on recommended by the one above me is good one, but to begin with, if you are a starter, i would like to recommed you to go to http://fitnessfundaa.blogpsot.com . Also, some of the yoga's that you should always do while starting are tadasana, padhastasna,trikonasana,sarvangasan,paschimottasan, Matsyasana, and then some Pranayams like Anulom-Vilom and Kapal Bhati.. All thses you can find at the above web address with complete procedure and benefitts. Then as you mastre these, you can adapt other yoga's also.
