my wife is suffering her period, what shoud l do?

When Aunt Flo comes a visitin, I just want to stay in bed too. As a man, the best thing you can do, be solicitous and try not to annoy. I can't speak for your wife, but I have about two days that I am better off not being around anybody. Now a days that is not possible, so any help in that vein would be good.

Really you are such a considerate person. Your wife is lucky to have you. Anyway try helping in the household work which is normally her work. Try not to rake up her nerves be helpful and patient with her mood swings.

Before I reply to your discussion, I have to admit that your post made me smile. I could sense that you're a very considerate husband and I assume that you have just married recently, am I right? Anyway, every woman who's having her period is normally irritable and experiences some of those things you have already mentioned. But you don't have to worry about anything. As I have just said, all of this is but normal. I'm already married for more than five years now and somehow, my husband had adjusted to my behavior everytime I've got my monthly period. He knows that I don't want to be cuddled unless I say so. Regarding any meals or drinks, if I could I refrain from drinking and eating cold stuff because it will trigger my stomach ache. And, I've got to admit that I'm too lazy to do household chores during this time; so usually, he does all of these for me. I also get too sleepy so I'm usually asleep. Hope you do get to adjust together with your wife.

Lucky wife......don't you ever change ok?! If ever it happen again...try to give her hot compress where the pain is.Leave her a few minutes to rest.And try to do some of the chores......and cook some soup for her.Maybe she needs some sweating during the bout.Good luck!

my husband works with me.every month when i lost my temper to him,he knew what's gonna happen and he with take over my work so as to ease me. it's so thoughtful and sweet of him to do so. the first day aunt rose came , I got cramp and general malaise,then i go to bed and sleep for a whole afternoon. i can't feel the pain when i'm sleeping. when i wake up,the pain eased and i can do my job normally. by the way, it's the first time I see the word"aunt rose". i couldn't get the exact meaning until i read the word for the third time.in China we call it 'the elder aunt',almost the same. why is aunt so popular?

haha well i am a woman the best advice i can give u is 2 just stay out of her way, the thing that eases my cramps is a heating pad or a nice massage good luck!!!!!

It is something taht i think not so common when men discuss. think hot pad is good for her. we all go through this. its nothing rarer.

When I am in that stage, I just want to sleep. I get very sick so I would not be able to eat a meal. Thinking of a meal when I am in a lot of pain is pretty horrible. You are a very considerate husband. Generally a heat pad (I have a rice pillow that i heat up) on the stomach, a good nap, and some pain medicine helps a lot. My mom said that when she was growing up her mom made rosemary tea and somehow that helped her with the pain? I have never tried it.
