How Do You Feel When ......

Hi mylotters ! It seems like a bit of a slow week .. I've been looking round and I see various posts like 'God is great' etc . Personally I fluctuate between yeah god exsists and where is he/she/it?
Sometimes I feel 'sugar poisoned' when I read posts like I mentioned, not that I dislike the people posting. It is hard for me to accept that the world we live is governered by an 'altruistic diety who occasionally goes in for a bit of smiting and/or wrath' so when people offer things like 'blessings' do you find them full of artificial sweetner and empty in sentiment? to sum up how do you feel about religion?do you find somepeople who have 'found' religion smug and self serving? please share your thoughts
I'd like to point out this is not a post to attack people's beliefs.

Everyone is looking for the great. Call it god or call it bux or whatever. This is what people do. It sort of validates their existence. I do not mind what they do, it is a legitimate thing unless they become too aggressive or bellicose about it.
