Student Housing is it out to get our Money / myLot

Hi I am From England and i find student housing to be a CON!!!! They are out to take all of our money and dont think about how we need the money. I was wondering whether other countries were the same. I mean where i am at the moment they charged my Friend £10 for not puting the washing up away!!!!!!!!!!! I mean what is with that lol I used to livin in Halls in Bristol and we had to physically paint the walls so we would get our deposit bk even if they were clean... How do u feel on that and what stories do u guys have???

Hi im from Canada and there is the same thing going on here. Student housing is yet another competent to the sky high price of university. I'm going into first year this fall and i really thought it would be convenient to go, turns out im better off buying a car; gas included. The only people i know that are going into housing are people who got a bunch of scholarships and those that have been saving up since birth. Either way u look at it housing is just robbery.
