I want A new rabbit!

I have had a rabbit in the past - just the one and he was lovley! I think rabbits are gorgeous little animals and I so think you should get one but not sure if it's a goodidea to just get one without speaking to your husband!!

I think rabbits can be nice pets if you realize the responsibility. The kids aren't going to take care of the rabbit, this will be your pet. Rabbits live 8-12 years with proper care, are you prepared for that? Also, if you're in the United States there are tons of rabbits in the animal shelters, so if you are ready for one, consider adopting and saving a life. I have 2 rabbits. I got one from a girl who went to college. She gave it to me when she left, at this point, it was 4 years old and she thought it was "really old". It was an outdoor rabbit. I brought him inside and now he is 13 years old. My second rabbit was tossed out when some people were evicted. I had to catch her running around outside. Now she occupies about half of my bedroom. I would estimate she is about 2-3 years old. Probably not over 3.
