Everyone uses cliches, sometimes without knowing it. I get a kick out of people who use them inappropriately. They think they are being intelligent when in fact they have no idea of what they are talking about. Sometimes people over use them, seriously over use them. I am not sure what my personal favorite is. I know there are some that are pretty universal, like blind as a bat, but there are also some regional ones. My mom, her mom, and aunt always said Lord love a duck when ever we would do something stupid as kids. I guess that beats saying What the .... you know what I mean.
What are some of your favorite or most used cliches?

I remember a wise woman once saying "that's dumber than two brains in an alley." Not sure what that meant... Not really sure why there'd be one brain in an alley, let alone two.

One of my favorite lines is "History repeats itself." I always have this thing that once a person commits a mistake, and does it again. No matter how sorry he was and how sincere that he won't ever commit this again, for sure, there will still come a time that he'll go over the same cycle. I know it's some kind of pessimistic but heck, I'm just being realistic.
Another line I love is "Intention is nothing, result is everything". It meant like, no matter what you really wanted to do, if it turned out to be the opposite or not even close to what you wanted it to, what still matters was what was the outcome of it. I'm more of the results and not with how you really wanted them to be.

Today I heard someone say, "She's full of piss and vinegar today." Ew.
