How to say 1 to 10 in your language ?

In Malay, cardinal numbers from 1 to 10 are : 1 = satu 2 = dua 3 = tiga 4 = empat 5 = lima 6 = enam 7 = tujuh 8 = lapan 9 = sembilan 10 = sepuluh

Hi, marsphuchung ! Nice to meet you again. I learnt in HCMC, the numbers are : 1=mot 2=hai 3=ba 4=bon 5=nam 6=sau 7=bay 8=tam 9=chin 10=muoi Tones in Vietnamese is difficult for me.When a tone in a word is changed, the meaning of that word changes accordingly.Ther are six tones, a headache for me !

Iam in the USA and the majority of us speak english and the numbers are 1- one,2- two, 3- three,4-four,5-five,6-six,7-seven,8-eight,9-nine,10-ten.

In the Uk we say one for 2 two for 2 three for 3 four 4 five for5 six for 6 seven for 7 eight for 8 nine for 9 ten for ten

Notice that they have some similarities to those of the Spanish. 1-uno 2-dos 3-tres 4-kuwatro 5-singko 6-sais 7-siyete 8-otso 9-nuebe 10-diyes

Hi friend, In my mother tongue, lets start 1= onnu, 2 = rand, 3 = moonnu, 4 = naallu, 5 = anjhu, 6 = aaru, 7 = ezhu, 8 = ettu, 9 = onbadu, 10 = pathu. There may be some difference in pronuncing the actual words i have written. Languages are really crazy.

I from Philippines and Netherlands so i guess i have to count twice Philippines 1 to 10 1- isa 2- dalawa 3- tatlo 4- apat 5- lima 6- anim 7- pito 8- walo 9- siyam 10- sampo Netherlands 1 to 10 1- een 2- twee 3- drie 4- vier 5- vijf 6- zes 7- zeven 8- acht 9- negen 10-tien But i like counting in Philippines number better.have a nice day!Greetrings from che!

I notice , Phillipines numbers has some similarity with Malay, like dua = dalawa, empat = apat, lima = lima, enam = anim, sepuluh = sampo. Thanks for sharing

Here's how we say it in the Philippines 1=isa 2=dalawa 3=tatlo 4=apat 5=lima 6=anim 7=pito 8=walo 9=siyam 10=sampu I believe there are some similarities there curious888, I don't know, maybe because our country is near each other.
