Joba gets first win as starter 6-25-08

Joba finally got his first win as a starter as the Yanks drub the Pirates 10-0. He was dealing tonight. He went 6 and 2/3 and struck out 7. This is a great sign for the Yanks with Wang down. They needed someone to step up with a solid performance. Cano and Abreu both went yard for the Yanks. Cano had his second straight 3 hit game so hopefully he is out of that killer slump. Rookie Justin Christian had a hit and scored two runs as he plays for Jonny Damon who is out with a sore foot. Damon may have to go on the DL.
