do u wear a belt when u wear pants/jeans?

Today even wearing a proper belt is making a style statement. And having a jeans with a proper belt on makes a difference to your personality.

Hi leo, pants or jeans I wear belts for both. I don't feel comfortable wearing jeans without a belt especially if my jeans does not fit well to my waist.

Just be glad he's not wearing them all low-slung with his underwear showing out the top! Loking a bit formal is far perferable to that! I don't like to wear belts with my jeans, but I often have to because they won't stay up properly (I seem to have either lost some weight or I've been buying the wrong size pants lately...). I just am more comfortable without one usually.

I rarely do. Actually, I don't own a belt. I also agree with you, anyhows it depends, now a days it is used for fashion.

It really depends on the mood of anyone. Everyone has its own choise and can wear anything. Like i always used to have belt with everything like pents & Jeans. So it really depends on once choice.

I see nothing wrong at all with wearing belts with jeans. My son rarely wears a belt at all, unless his jeans/pants are a little loose and he's afraid they might hit the ground if he's running, moving alot, or jumping at school. My husband, on the other hand, wears a belt with everything. Whether it be jeans, dress slacks, khakis, or denim shorts he's always got that belt on. I think it looks fine either way. As for me, I don't think I even own a belt! I have never been much of a belt wearer. I've always felt so constricted if I did have one on. I don't know if this stems from the fact that I've had a large waistline all my life that I did not wish to call attention to or the fact that I was disciplined with a belt a few times as a kid. Regardless of the reason, I'm just not a belt wearer.

Normally i wear a belt to be more formal...but now a days as short shirt are a plenty in fashion i hardly buckle it..i miss my branded belt very badly now a days...

Well, I am wearing a belt with my pants,jeans. It is your wish to wear a belt with jeans. But there are so many types of belts are available in market specially for jeans. They are not formal belt, they are very funky type of belt. I like to wear these funky belts with my jeans, and sport shoes.

I think it is good to wear belts with jeans, one for the style factor, especially if it's a nice looking belt, and practically to keep the pants up. I have seen so many guys who either are constantly adjusting their pants or they are sitting with their boxers hanging out, which actually isn't nearly as bad as the girls I've seen who wear short shirts, low jeans and have their thong sticking out. LOL I mean, it doesn't offend me, and it is the "it" thing to do, I would just think they would feel a bit weird.

Hmm. Well I really do not like to wear belts. I pretty much never wear a belt because I always buy my jeans to fight snug, usually not too tight but not really loose or anything. So yeah :P

Sometimes. I don't really like wearing belts. They just feel weird having them around my waist. But there are some that I really like. I really like wearing my metal studded belt, it's awesome. And I have a lot of web belts that I wear. All skateboard brands. And I don't wear jeans, only cargos. I guess if he wants to wear them with jeans he should go for it.

Belts are very stylish, here, so it has more to do with fashion than formality and functionality, in a lot of cases.. I know that I've got a couple of fun belts that I wear, occasionally, just because I like how they look. Here, even people with their pants around their knees wear belts!

not necessary, if you ahve a perfectly stitched trouser, y would one want a belt. its a nuisance, but one is gaining weight fast maybe the belt would be of help

I applaud your son for wearing a belt with both types of pants. I wish more men would wear a belt, even if it is just jeans. Then they wouldn't spend so much time constantly hiking up their britches LOL I always wear a belt with pants and jeans. I'm not sure why you think a belt is not casual :)

I normally buy readymade pants and hence it is difficult to get exact measurement.Therefore I wear belt whenever I am wearing the pant. Again in belts too, the punched holes are not sufficient, I needed one or two more to tighten.
