when you get the sheet music, you should take it to her teacher to help her read it better. I had trouble reading it sometimes and my guitar teacher helped me understand it better.

Sheet music not so much, but you can find all sorts of tabs online. (They're fairly easy to use, they just show you where your fingers need to be positioned rather than using sheet music.) You can find loads of free tabs online. Sheet music, not so much. That was where I ran into problems when I was learning.
