What is more important in life for you. Does having a lot of money make you happy. There are people who measure happiness with money. How much importance do you give to money. Or are you happy just living the life the way it is just now and do not give that much importance to money?

I feel that happiness is measured by what you make of it. If money makes you happy then let it be, yes it's wrong but many people are happy with a lot of money. This world is driven by money, bartering is uncommon now. For me, having money is okay but having love and friendship and happiness is a lot richer then what money could buy. I want money so that I can buy things that I want and so that my fiance and I can help pay for things around the house. We don't need it now, but it's not bad to have. Have a Great day.

Money does help make life easier, but it is not important and money can not buy happiness,me and my fiance do not have a lot of money, and that does not bother me a lot, because I have my fiance and she is the most important person to me,and I am the happiest I have ever been, just because I am with her,and I love her with all my heart and soul.

I agree being in love and being with the one you love, can bring you more happiness, and is more important than a million dollars or anything else that you could every find or get in this world, because nothing is worth more than love.

It is rather tempting to choose money because these is what the present times are showing. The show that people with lots of money are happy with their lives. But I guess these are all misleading since there are a lot more rich people that live miserably since they could not find the happiness money has promised them. I would just equate money as a way to provide us the things we basic needs in life.

Hi,
i think that money is important to keep people happy but money will not make people satisfied. If a person has a lot of money but that person is all alone in this world with all the money, that person will not be a happy person.
I think that balance between money and happiness is important. We need a happy life and balance life but without money, we can't achieve that. So, money and happiness need to comes together to have the 100% happiness.

Hi dear
to me happiness is more important to me, it does not mean i am denying the importance of money. Money is also important in life and one should have enough money to have both ends meet.and u can stay comfortable life.
And to earn money you should not follw wring way and not scarifice ur family. So all i say both are important in life but priorty should be happiness
Take care

I would say happiness is always going to be at the top of mylist. However I think that having a fair bit of cash can contribute to at least a minimal amount of happiness or at least temporal enjoyment.
True happiness however comes from the heart and it's feeling loved.

hi mayka123, what is money without a happiness? even if you are the richest person in the world if you are not happy it is still useless. money just make us buy things we want in life but not the true happiness. thanks and be happy always.

Hi,
for me is the most important in life to reach the real happiness that comes from the spiritual world and not from the material. Just chant and hear:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Ráma Hare Ráma
Ráma Ráma Hare Hare
Gouranga!(means be happy!)

Well I have never been happier in my life, right now and we don't have alot of money so I guess for me money doesn't make me happy. It would be nice if we had more but not necessary. I have seen shows on TV about people that have won the lottery and they are living miserable lives!!! Greed can be a bad thing!!!

Yes its not necessary that you will be happy when you have money. I had a very good business once upon a time and due to some reasons lost everything. Am now working and have realized that I am much more happy now that at that time. So money cannot buy you happiness.

My husband and I have been having this discussion a lot lately. We both think happiness is but we are also realistic to know you have to have a decent amount of money as to not have to struggle. It makes happiness easier but it is definately not the only thing!

if i depend on my money or lack of it to make me happy i'd be in trouble....lol there is alot of thiings that make me hapy. my children , my grandchildren, good friends, pretty weather, i could go on & on. people sometime put too much emphasis on money. it can't make you happy. it's great to have what money u need for bills, groceries etc.

i think the both are important in my life.money is good for survival but not for happiness.you can easily have good time with other people or just doing things on your own without money. but i will happy if now i have a lot of money.but don't think money can make me happy forever.
