Do you use Boboli Pizza Crust? I do sometimes. It's not my favorite, but every once in awhile they're free with other purchases or have such a sale on them that it would be ridiculous to pass them up. Today I'm using some mozarella that I bought at the Farmer's Market, Salsa that's been in the basement and needs to be used, leftover sausage, and oregano from my garden. If you use Boboli, what do you put on your crust? If you don't, what kind of crust do you use or make and what do you put on it?

We read the ingrediants and discovered that, at least at that time, I couldn't eat them - darn. Homemade pizza is so nice. I'd probably just put cheese, mushrooms and cauliflower on it. I've never been a meat pizza person, and the only one I've ever cared for was shrimp, and its been a year since I ate those last because they made me sick.

I buy frozen shrimp, cook the heck out of them and eat them right away. Keeps me healthy and happy. Maybe the ingredients have changed. Only used them because too good a sale to pass up. Take care and thanks for the response.

Hello writersedge. I really like the Boboli Pizza Crust but alas, my husband doesn't like it very well. So, I usually end up using one of 2 others: the Pillsbury roll-out, pre-made pizza crust that comes in a "biscuit can" (sort of ), or the Chef Boy Ar Dee "Pizza kit". The crust mix in this kit is powdered, you mix it with water and let it set for 15 or 20 minutes, then pat it down on the pizza pan. It crisps nicely around the edges. I usually put lean ground sirloin, onion, green or red bell peppers, and mozzarella cheese, plus Italian seasonings on our pizza. On my husband's half, I add pepperoni and cayenne papper. On my half, I add loads of mushrooms and black olives and go easy on the ground sirloin. Gosh, it's morning and now, I'm hungry for pizza!

We use bread dough or pizza dough that's made by the store, there used to be a regular bread bakery here, but it went out of business. We usually just spred the dough out. But the bread store that takes back old bread, that had the Boboli on a table for some price like 3 for 2 dollars or something, so it was hard to pass up. My husband and I like different toppings, too. I tend to like veggies and he tends to like meat. Thanks and take care.

Boboli is a crust that is put between two pieces of plastic and sealed so it stays fresh a long time. Then when you want to use it, you cut the plastic and take it out. It's not as good as regular bread dough, but it's ok. Fruit pizza is fun. Some people put cream cheese and fruit on pizza dough over here, you would probably like that. Thanks for your response and take care.
