download speed at internet

Hi, My internet downloads speed is 40 to 60 Kbps. I am using flashget and the software helps me to make the internet speed even faster. If the internet connection is good, the internet speed could reach 66kbps.

I don't even know what my download speed is!! Thta is probably quite silly of me not to know but oh well eh?

I have BSNL Broadband connection with 256kbps unlimited plan.... ... I get very good download speeds of about 29-30KB/s when i download from torrent sites... otherwise i get my full speed of 32KB/s.... I'm going to change my plan from next month to 512kbps unlimited.... So ill get about 60KB/s... he he....

Hi agladitior, 15-2kbps download speed is not bad.I am having dial up internet connection slow speed but i use free download manager to download any thing with the speed of 10 to 25kbps some time.I feel good to download from this free open source software tool.

I am using BSNL Dataone broadband connection with a speed of 200-300KBps. all other memmbers responding to this Question, I request you to differentiate between, kbps and KBps because, 1KB=8kb. I am using broadband connection, with Adsl connection, with a speed that rocks. Man, I reccomend everybody to use BSNL Dataone Broadband connection, If you have a hunger for great speed, then go for 8Mbps plans(if available in your are).
