Have you cried for months over the loss of your pet? I know this sounds like a silly emotional freak, but i was one. When i lost my pet dog "Brownie" it left me devastated. I had the feeling of loosing a family member, no doubt he was a family member to all of us. Everything that i did i missed him, cause when i used to sit to study he would sit beside me, when i ate i fed him from my plate, in everything i did i always used to fine him beside me. And then came the day when i had to bury him. I had to make myself understand that i would no longer have him side of me anymore. It was very difficult to imagine life without Brownie. Every time i thought of him, i used to end up crying. It took me quiet sometime to get over the loss.
Has something like this ever happened to you? Have you lost your favourite pet??

I've lost a number of pets over the years, and yes I'm the one wailing and crying when it happens. I get so attached and so easily. I just love animals. Last month someone left a kitten on my doorstep, and I was thrilled. I love kittens. But I really knew I shouldn't keep him since I have too many pets as it is. A neighbor lady had just recently lost her husband and told me how lonely she was - so I gave the adorable kitten to her. She just loves him - and I still miss him. I may have only had him 4 weeks, but I loved him. All I can do is remember I made the best choice all around. Its so hard losing pets....

I've cried over lost pets like a family member, because that's what they were to me. I have found that getting another pet after a time of mourning helped me. I still would think of the lost pet and talk about it, but I found I still had enough love to give another pet. I always took photos of my pets, I have many things to remember them by.
