Washing Hands - Do you hum or sing a tune?

If you all read my previous discussion about washing your hands, you would understand my obsession with hygene and its importance.
I watched an episode of Oprah, where there was a doctor on and was saying that when you wash your hands, in order to properly sanitize them of any germs that you may have come in contact with, that you should either sing or hum one of the following songs:- Row, Row, Row Your Boat
- Happy Birthday
The length of the song is the proper amount of time. So my mom one day started singing Happy Birthday while I was washing my hands, to ensure that I spent enough time washing.
Does anyone else do this? or at least heard of this or any other similar crazy ideas?

No I have never heard of anyone singing whilst washing hands but I was always told to do it by washing each finger and in between and under nails and then once you've done one hand then the next just as much!
Although I was also told to wash up to wrist level so this is how I do it!
