When you wake up in the morning do you hear music?

Musical symbol. Treble Clef - A beautiful rendering of the treble clef which in music is the upper staff.

Every morning I wake and there is always a song in my mind. No I don't fall asleep to a radio. Actually my house is very quiet at night. So why do I wake up to music every day? I think it is because my life is surrounded by music. I lead worship at church. I am a singer song writer. I play the piano. So I am wondering about you. Do you hear music when you wake up? What kind? How does it make you feel? Why do you think you do?

Yes, I most definitely hear music when I wake up each morning. It's very rare that I don't because I always seem to have a song in my heart. I think it symbolizes happiness, in my opinion. Sometimes it's a song I heard on the radio; sometimes it's a song I haven't heard for a while. I believe music is a huge part of my life. It's a beautiful thing. Music is shared by all because it affects everyone. The people who understand it can also learn to appreciate it. I find that very interesting that you lead worship at your church. What an honor! My brother in law is the music pastor at his church as well. He has a wonderful voice. I love music because I grew up with it. My mom is an excellent pianist who taught me to play at a young age as well. About 13 or 14 years ago, I learned to play the saxophone too. I think it's one of the most beautiful instruments. Even without an instrument, however, music can be enjoyed. I view the voice as another valuable and beautiful instrument, (depending on how it's used, of course!) I think everyone should have a since in their heart. Thanks for posting yet another wonderful discussion!

I have a lot of passions. I was a pastor for the passed 6 years. I started my own church and now I have left that city and and I am now involved with a wonderful ministry here. I do not think I can go with out my music. Currently I am working on a CD project for 10 of the songs that I have written. Hopefully soon I will be able to post them on my web site for all to hear.

I'll make sure my fellow mylotians are notified when the project is complete. Perhaps I will release one song at a time.

Sounds like a plan! I'm very much looking forward to hearing your work as well as what styles and types of music you enjoy. That's very neat that you started your own church and then allowed it to continue on its own while you've moved on. What a great accomplishment! It's been very fun and interesting learning about your background and such. Thanks again for your comment.

I don't hear music when I wake up.But I know from my experience that it's a best welcome for a pleasant day.Hearing music in morning it gives us a happy and energetic mood.I experienced it in my life. When I was young I usually wake up hearing some songs from the temple.Slow devotional songs, and that with rising son had given me a pleasant morning at that time.I can't forget that mornings even in this grown up age.

As the Bible states, at least with King Saul, Music was able to cause the evil spirits to leave him. Sometimes when we wake up that is exactly what we need. To start the day clean.

If my three kids screaming counts as music, then yes lol. otherwise no. we listen to music alot during the day though. the kids like to dance so we'll turn on the radio and dance. but in the mornings there's no music just the girls fighting or saying "mom we want breakfast!"
