Could you live with yourself if you killed someone out of self defense? How would it affect you?
Personally, I could not live with myself even if it was in self defense. I would not be able to emotionally survive harming or killing someone in self defense. Then again, on the other hand the instinct for self preservation and survival would push a person to fight for their life.
How does one resolve the conflict between self preservation\survival and their personal values and morals\belief system? How would one resolve the conflict of emotional turmoil of killing in self defense (subsequently living with that person's death over your head) and belief systems?
