Why isn't there a star for every user with more than 100 discussions?

I have read that when you have made 100 posts, a rating star shows up beside the user name. But I see users with thousands of posts, without any star. Does anybody know why?
I look forward to my post Nr. 100, so I will be able to see what ratings I got.

Once you get 100 posts you will recieve a star. Each person's star will be a differant collar and have a number in it.This has to do with the rating systen here on Mylot. Try not to worry about your star rating here on Mylot. As it has nothing to do with your earnings. People will rate you when you respond to a discussion, either possitive or negitive. You should always rate other possitve as long as the response is good, but some here will give otheres a negitive rating if they do not like them or they do not agree, this is very wrong, I think.Good Luck

It's because the stars are only number 1-10. Sometimes a user is particularly bad or receives many negatives (deserved or otherwise) and does not have enough positive rating to even have a 1 star (which begins at 5/100). Instead of a star with a 0 in it, they have no star at all...makes more sense than displaying a 0 star.
