Ok, so we have about a week to get everything packed up and the rent house that we are living in clean. Does anyone have any tips on what is a good way to get organized while moving, and also how to clean a house from top to bottom? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

i have had to move several times since the hurricane in Louisiana, all from rental houses or apartments, when you talk about cleaning a place upon leaving it, I had a friend that owned trailers and apartments there and I used to help her clean after people left, she is very picky about cleaning and she has learned me a great deal in helping her.
We start with packing up one room and then clean that room and close the door, go on to the next as you pack it up, you clean it and close the door.
Whe we talk of cleaning that includes ceiling fans, window blinds, furnace filters, ceiling light covers, pulling the stove and refrigerator out and cleaning behind them. Cleaning the carpet. Wiping out all the cabinets and medicine cabinet. Cleaning the tub/shower, toliet sink, under the sink in the cabinet.
I noticed lots of people think cleaning a apartment means sweeping it out and moping, I guess there is some that, that is the way they got it, but if a landlord takes pride in what he rents then he takes pride in how it looks when you go to rent it. Just clean it the best you can, and you will see that when you clean one room at a time, after you pack that room up, it is done and you dont' have to worry about it anymore.

there are trucks offering to be hired. It is more convenient because you can put your entire thing in the truck and just making you to save time and effort. leave your old apartment dirty the owner can clean up the mess, hehe.
