Be aware that some pet food from their distribution center has been seized by the FDA due to unsanitary holding conditions. Only certain states have been affected and no pet has been sickened by the food yet. This food has not and may not be recalled.

As of the last time I checked, none of the food was recalled. This was more of a heads up to people. Personally, I do not - and refuse to - give PETCO any money. I feel that their stores do not care for the animals properly and I refuse to help pay for that.

Thank you so much for the heads up...Thank God we don't buy anything from Petco...I have never liked that store and we always go to Petsmart and here in the store we go to has nver had a problem. They are so clean at all times. We have 2 stores near by and never a problem. Even when the pet food was recalled they pulled it from the shelves right away....I live in Nevada and I didn't see it on the list, I don't understand how a Pet store can be so dirty and get away with it....
