I Can't Believe It's Going To Be July Soon

I don't know if you're like me, but it seems as though this year has wizzed by so fast. I was sitting watching some TV the other night, and there are a lot of sales acommercials about celebrating the "big" holiday. And I'm like, What holiday? And then it dawned on me---they were talking about the Fourth of July...our biggie holiday here in America which celebrates our Independence from English rule...and I'm like WHAT?????? It's going to be July 4th already? Where did that time go? Is it just me, or does it seem this year is fleeing by at warp speed??? Like yikes, before you know it, with the way this year seems to be going at this pace, it'll be Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

How time flies eh! I was only saying on the phone to a friend Tuesday that I just don't know where this year has gone. Is it because we are getting older or has time literally sped up. Events that seemed so far way are now looming and I am not prepared as I would usually be. I am usually quite organised but the days are turning into weeks so quickly I can't keep up. Ellie :D

They say time seems to go by faster when you get older...mmmm....to me time has seemed to race by even when I was only a kid...like remember when you were a kid on vacation break and that time went so fast and next you were getting ready for a new school year. But for some reason this year really seems to be going by faster than usual

He has helped me with the first batch already. Helped scatter them all over the floor, that is. Soon as I broke the cubes loose from the trays, he was fishing them out onto the floor. He fished 5 out while I was in the bathroom and came back to ice puddles all over...AGAIN! ugh! lol

It really can be scary how time whizzes by so fast...same thing with weeks in general. Like on Monday I'm thinking, oh, good I have a whole new week, then gulp, before you know it, it's Friday, like where did the week go as well?

Oh no, don't say that - that's all we need now. I herd on the 5 o'clock news tonight that Con Ed workers are going on strike starting Saturday. Management said there is nothing to worry about, they will handle everything. Yea sure, every summer they are problems even when they have a full staff working, can you just imagine management trying to handle things on a skeleton crew. I hope the weather drops before they strike.

Well I've noticed this for many years now pyewacket! LOL The years are just flying by, at least for me. It feels like we just had the 4th of July and here it is again, a year later?!? My goodness, before I know it my kids will be grown! And here it feels like they should still be babies. Yet my oldest is now 11 years old, and my youngest will be 8 years old in a few days. What the heck happened?

hi Melanie:). I feel better and sleep less while spring and summer so I don't feel that time goes by too fast. I have such feeling often in 2 situtaions: when there is freezy outside in the winter and I vegetate waiting for spring to live again;) And when I go on holiday - it always ends too fast. Have a nice day, jazgottt.

As it comes to holiday, I'd travel somewhere with pleasure, but it is not probably to happen soon. It's a pity. I have a lot of fun on holidays. Sometimes it is so much fun that I don't really know what day and what time it is hehe. cheerio, jazgottt.

ha ha ha ha ha... I remember way back when I was a very young teen, some one once told me this: "When you are 10, everything is new and beautiful. Before you reach 20, when the sky drops on you, you will treat it like a blanket and sleep. Nothing is impossible at the age of 11-20. Once you turn 21, time will start to fly. Before you know it, you are working, getting married, buying your own home... etc. Once you turn 30, time will start to whiz by you, so fast, before you know it, you are 40!" Then, I did not understand. Now, looking back, what he said is so true!

Funny I think in many ways time always kind of zoomed by me, but it seems this year it's gone faster than usual, but then maybe cause I've been so busy this year..I bet if I had nothing to do time would then seem to drag, right?

They say as we age the years gets shorter and shorter. I think it is a conspiracy to make American's think they are living longer, really it is the years are getting shorting. While we are asleep the calenders are changing months when we have not used up all the days. It is really only February 4 2006. heehee

I sometimes think I need 60 hours in a day to do everything I want to do, but I do realize the importance of making every moment count and mean something...in other words, to also take time to "smell the roses"

Oh I know, it just feels like we just got done with our youngest birthday back in Febuary, and now we have to do our oldest, which is in July. I just looked, it's going to be my birthday in 9 days. Time is flying by to fast it seems. Before I know it, my kids will be going back to school and dealing with all of that crap. I think time flys as we get older, but as a child, time seems to stand still. Makes me wish I was a kid again.

yes, time fly. 8 years ago, i was single. Now my daughter and son are attending school. For me from 2006 to 2008 is very speedy. I can't imigine that I'm going to 31 this year.I'm over 30's and looked back my past and present. Am I gain something in this year? My husband told me that from 20 to 30 years is very fast. You must use of youth and must gain something and must be success. If you don't trying hard in this age, it's very difficult to win after 30's. And how about you?
