yes i have. many times since hubby passed away 5yrs ago. not much success. dated one guy for 8 mths, but he kept pressuring me for marriage. I've been married 5 times! why would i want to again? i told him we could live together, but that wasnt good enough. then, my ex-daughter in law got me a e-harmony account and they couldnt find me a match! lol! tried several others. i've given up. i even done a blog about it on myspace

hi petiksmode. I met my present boyfriend online and I have to admit that it would be difficult to find someone who is so compatible with me liek he is:). I was not looking for someone because I like to be alone and I generally don't hurry with going into relationship. But I enjoyed making my profiles at online dating sites. I liked to watch profiles at dating sites, but I didn't think about dating someone face to face. I was dating someone from time to time, but all of that boys I met traditionally, so on holidays or through friends etc. It is weird that I mad my love at online dating site, but it is true. We are together for over a year now, and everything is great. I have also a friend who is with boyfriend whom she met online for about 4 years now. They are happy together. She is attractive woman, and she was alwyas dating someone but she is really happy with the man she met online. It is possible to meet someone really interesting almost everywhere: at the party, in the library, in the bus, online too. But online dating sites are the best place for shy people. I am absolutely not shy ;) but my boyfriend is quite shy. I like it, because it is sweet. But I think it would be hard to meet him 'in real' because he likes to stay-at-home. Years ago I use to think dating website and telephone chats were okay. Never thought I'd ever find true love on something like that, so I just dated here and there. I mostly met people through dating websites or friendship sites, etc., dated them a few times and then got bored. But I will admit, true love can be found. I have been with my partner for 4 years this November and we actually met on a dating site back in 2001. So since I found love upon the sites/phones, etc., I do not shun anyone if they try. It never really cross my mind, but i register in an online dating site just for fun or out of curiosity. To my surprise I met my boyfriend there and were on our 2nd year anniversary. I never thought it would work. Or I thought the guys there are up just for fun not the serious kind of type but I was wrong.

I do not like this kind of services I do not trust them, but I met my hubbie online, we talked for one year and now we are married. I was in USA he was in France so imagine what I had to do to get here, France!
