How do you feel when a person hurts/rapes a child under the age of 5?

Ok I want to hear how you feel about someone hurting a child under the age of 5?
Plus what do you think their punishment should be?

Should he only have to do maybe 10-20 yrs
A person who beats a child or shakes a child to death, What do you think should happen to them?
Not only do they hurt these children these children are not theirs they belong to the girlfriend or the boyfriend
We all know that they will not put to death those who rape children but send them to jail and sometimes these people get out and do it again but they also kill the child so he/she can't talk then the judge will give them death. I need to know where is the justice in a child being raped and having the fear and seeing what happened to them in their head for the rest of their lives and sometimes these children kill themselves because it takes over their mind day and night.
But I have found out that the D.A., judge and lawyers only think about winning and they don't think about the victims even though the victim is the one suffering the raper acts as if he/she didn't do it or he/she didn't know what they were doing or they just don't care because they know they will get out and be able to do it again or they will be raped in jail.
Its makes me sick to know that sometimes a raper has more power then the victim and I know this is why some family members kill their childs raper/molester.

People who do this are obviously mentally ill and disturbed in ways most of us care not to imagine. They need to be imprisoned or at least put in a mental hospital and medicated (seriously so). I don't think we should kill them, that doesn't serve anyone, the child molester or victim who is still victimized even if we kill they perpetrator.

I agree totally with what you have written here and I always feel so badly for the children who have to suffer through these crimes from people who are so sick they have to use a child. I do know that when these men go to prison their lives there are horrible, since I have known men in prison. They are considered the lowest of low and they aren't considered much by the others there. BUT as you've written, it doesn't take away the pain and suffering of the child and the family. In the county of Lucas in OH (I'm not sure if it is statewide) the person must register and they send out mailings to the people living within a certain distance of that person so that they are made aware of that person living nearby. I have gotten such mailings before.

It seems to me that people are getting away easier with crimes against children than those against adults, particularly if it is their own children. I have never understood this. Children are innocent and defenseless. I think people who rape or kill children should never again see the light of day.

Rape is rape at any age and it kills the human soul . When I hear of just a baby getting raped I get so sick and think these people who did this are nothing but sick in the head and evil . That is one of the lowest things in the world to do . There is no worse abuse in my book than being abused in such a vile way . My heart breaks for all forms of abuse and I think my lucky stars that this has never happened to me . I just dont think I could get over something like that .
People who do things should get punished and it should not be light . I had a friend of a friend in school who was raped by his father and in a few years he was let out of jail and they even helped him find a job . Now tell me if that is fair .

I think that is awful and it should not be tolerated. These people need to be put awya for life. They need to get a taste of what it is like with whatever they have done to thse children. It makes me sick that these victims have to suffer for a long time and most of the perpetrators get off scott free or with a slap on the hand.

well, when i was a child, they didnt get away so easily as today. they were locked up with others that killed adults and usually got what Dahmer got. i feel they should be locked up in the worst conditions with the worst killers for the rest of their lives with no parole, ever and no comforts of life or privelages.
