Yesterday, a really great friend of mine(who i happen to call mom although she was my fostermom when I was younger) took me on a great escape! We went to Periwinkle Beach. A very small quaint beach that we had all to ourselves the whole day. It was so much fun, and also a great relief for me. It was like a total cleansing experience. My son was very reluctant at first and refused to go in the water, but by the end of the day he was feeling so free and he didn't want to leave! He even picked up a crab! I have a pic of it!

that's such a cute picture of your son mikey! and he's so brave. i would not want to pick up a crab. not even a hermit crab! I recall being kinda scared of them when i saw some scurrying on the beach even though they are so tiny and i am so small.
glad that your son enjoyed the water as well. i've heard that when kids are exposed to baths at an early age and start enjoying it , they then start enjoying swimming and the sea as well!

Oh yeah he was floating...we all had to wear shoes in the water because of rocks, but it was really fun anyway!

I think it's the feeling of floating...at least that's what I like about it.
