I now work from home so don't have a daily commute anymore but when I used to work in the office I used to also take the same route home every day simply becuase it was the only way really!
If I'd have gone a different way home it would have more than doubled my driving home time and even though a change of scenery may have been nice I think the cost of the petrol wouldn't!! lol

I guess a differnt route around the coffee table means you turn left instead of right. :)

I drive an hour to work and there are 3 different ways to go. The front way (the highway) is the fastest. But sometimes I take one of the back ways for a change, especially when I'm not in a hurry.

Good for you. You might have to look at the same dashboard all week but you can at least change the scenery. Zoom Zoom.

I know exactly what you mean. I like to frequently take a different route for a number of reasons. For one thing, I do not keep predictable habits that would encourage people to think they know where I am at any given time.
Secondly, I dislike routines, and cannot bear to do the exact same thing every day. Then too, I generally like to run many errands on one day, so the route is somewhat dependent on which places I need to go.

Well, I go to college by a college bus and they travel through a route so have to take the same route everyday. Although once in a blue moon they just divert around a blockade. That way we travel around a different route. But its all the same to me. The road's the same, but the feel is different. My music makes it different everytime. I listen to different music everytime and the outlook of the road changes everytime. No mater how many time I travel on it.

I am very close to my school so I go every day on the same route. I don't want any variety because that's the fastest route and most of the time I'm running to be in time. Plus, I go with my friends so we all go on the same route every day and talk about stuff..

When I'm driving I always go the same way to the supermarket - I hate driving, and I'm nervous in the traffic, so I go the quickest way and make sure I don't have to change lanes! But when I go for my daily walk, I like to change the route occasionally so it doesn't get boring. It's surprising how many funny things you notice when you go a different way!

I tend to vary the route depending on whether its weekday or weekend; early or late shift; if I'm doing the grocery shop en route etc. As I get close, I tend to go via the roundabout on the way there and take the flyover coming back.

It's a straight shot home which lets me set my cruise at 56 all the way home but once in a while I'll take all backroads home and enjoy the sencery.

I love new driving route every day but, right now since gas is totally high, I will not go into that, instead I will go different route when there is traffic in my regular route, If I do find a short cut route to my daily route then I will go into that to save more gas.
