Got this from cnnettv.com In Design, PSP features the buttons that we already know from the PlayStation console and a larger screen for gaming while the DS, though also shows buttons that Nintendo is known for, has two screens but smaller compared to the PSPs. However, you can fold the DS which makes it durable and grants the screens to last longer from scratches which the PSPs wouldn't, unless you'd get it an accessory which would protect the screen. For Gameplay, the PSP offers the usual gaming experience that most gamers are known for. The analog stick control is quite easy to get familiar with as it was with the PlayStation consoles. The DS on the other hand offers a more different gameplay as it utilizes its stylus feature as well as its mic that some of the games involve players to use it. The PSP is loaded with Features. Aside from gaming, you can watch films, listen to music, view images, browse the net with its Wi-Fi capability and with firmware updates, it would just keep on going and going with other features that developers can think of. The DS rather focuses on gaming, it can play videos, music as well as view images with the use of third party applications but, wouldn't be as comparable with the already featured PSP. With Performance, the PSP would get you to charge frequently and loading time still does exist for games but, not that much. DS however has more battery life than that of the PSP and loading time is non-existent with its game titles. Game Library for the PSP seems more leaning towards grown gamers than the DS that caters to casual gamers. With that, the DS has more game selection that can be played by gamers of any age while the PSP targets more on teens and up only with the contents of some games. I already have a PSP and wouldn't mind getting a DS, what matters for me is that I enjoy the games I play in any platform it runs in. Both hand helds have exclusive titles only available to each one which makes it interesting. The number of features from the PSP is already a good enough reason to buy one as you can use it for other things when your done with gaming. My verdict would be that PSP gets another vote on this discussion

The sony psp is by far the best handheld console. It has wifi,a very large screen for playing games, memory card support which is the deal breaker when compared to the ds.With the nintendo ds,you have to buy a separate adapter of which is costly plus a memory card which is a waste of time. The psp also has better graphics compared to the nintendo ds and I hate the touchscreen part of the nintendo ds.In my opinion, the ds is more of kids who are in the range of 12 years old going down and the psp is more of teenagers going up.Another thing is that the psp is better looking and is sort of durable, but the new psp slim does not have the durable part down.In the end I would say the score is now: psp= 2 nintendo ds= 0

Hi, I have to agree, PSP rules. I believe the graphics are top notch and can't be beat. The others just are not as clear, good, or detailed. So I love the PSP hands down. leofa

psp fan here :D. And it's so much better than the DS. In my opinion, a DS is a portable N64, so it doesn't bring anything new, except the portability, of course. psp - 4 DS -0
