How safe do you feel in your town?

The small town I live in has a really low crime rate. We have lived in our house for thirty years and have had only one burglary in the neighborhood that I can recall. We leave our windows open at night and sometimes the sliding glass door. Even though I live in a safe community when I go out alone at night I usually have my pepper spray with me. It is better to be safe than sorry.

well, we just moved in this new community. and it seems a very peacful place. i haven't really heard a lot of crimes in these area. hopefully i wouldn't experience those crimes.

Well I have not been a victim of a crime and certainly hope that I would not be. But the City I stay in has been growing by leaps in bounds with people comng in from all over. Yes the crime rate has gone up and I read and hear about it every day. It does give you the shivers, but it means that you have to be better prepared.
