Arranged Marriage or Your Choice?

This seems like an obvious question to most Westerners at first glance, but I'm not so sure.
Would you rather have an arranged marriage to someone who's family is wealthy and could give you security for the rest of your life, or would you rather marry someone who's poor, probably will never be wealthy, but whom you love?

Of course,I'd rather choose the one I love than marrying a guy that I have never met before and most of all I don't love..Marrying a person that you don't love, maybe your life is like a hell you're burning yourself alive... I don't understand to some parents who force their son/daughter to marry the person they don't love.. Maybe, they have a good reason but for me that is not valid.. I think there were just very selfish that they only think what best for their life without thinking of what will be the outcome of that marriage and they also don't care what their child feels; they don't think the happiness of their child...
For me, arranged marriage is the stupid and crazy decision ever.. If their parents wanted their child to be happy, to be safe, who can give a good life with full of love and not just money then they will let their child to marry the one they love.. Those parents who wants an arranged marriage for their children, they are just thinking about their selves, thinking on what are the things that they can get from that person/family.. They are very selfish of not thinking what their child will feel...

It should be my choice. Can you imagine waking up in the morning with that guy that you didn't love. It feels like your whole day and life is ruined. You cannot have happiness.

as for arranged marraige? i would never go for that.
