I know it's internet age now and mails can be done thru e-mails, chatting and a snap answer is expected throught this aspect...but Do you still write letters to your friends and family thru mailing post? Is there any difference doing e-mails and regular mails?

i dont remeber i ever sent any letter through mailing post!! nowadays emails are a lot better. this is because of many reasons:
1. first of all, it requires no cost, while mailing posts requite money for the stamps,
2. second of all, mailing posts take a lot for the letter to be recieved. emails are recieved within seconds.
3. third of all, mailing posts are old-fashion.
the third reason was not that strong, but it has to be mentioned anyways!

Almost no, because with e-mail people are most accesable. Now a days e- mail also is getting reduced because chatting service helps it more.It is not far that people will do only vedio conferencing.

Yes, i still write letters - tho' not as many as I used to. About 20 years ago, I had several penfriends around the world but, over the years, some have passed away and I've lost touch with others for various reasons. Now I only have about half a dozen but its still good to get letters through the door that are not bills or junk mail. I write letters to my sons even though we also keep in touch by phone/text/email - but usually its so I can send them an assortment of random objects. I stopped posting pancakes to them about 4 years ago ....
The main difference is obviously speed of delivery.

I don't use snail mail anymore for reasons that: it takes days to reach the intended recipient and there is the cost of stamps.
What we do is regular chats and e-mails as you have expected will be the answers.
We have to learn and take advantage of these new technologies otherwise we will be left behind.
