Is playing games for money more exciting?

For example, you play at king.com. You can play the game for money and you can play it for free. It makes the game nothing different exept from the fact that you can win or loose money. Does this make the game more exciting? Which option do you use? I like playing for money but keep it between boundaries, no big numbers and only every once in a while.

I play at king for money, i find it more exciting and i try harder but i only play for small amounts, and sometimes enter the tournaments and manage to win a little.

Sorry my answer is late, I must have overlooked you reply somehow. I agree that playing for a small amount of money can get the adrenaline going, it's nice to win and on the other hand it's just 25 cents so it's not a big deal to loose either. I allways make sure not to use to much though. I think I spent 20 euros in there and I have been a member for a year, if I was playing world of warcraft I couldn't have bought a single gamecard that lasts me two months .
