Are you the only child?

What do you think about that. Are you for or against being the only child. I have a sister too and I like it. I like to have siblings and don't like to be the only child in the family.

Unfortunately,as the family planning policy of China,I am the only child of my family.
I think singleton is too lonely,so I always want to have siblings from my childhood,then we can play together,communication and look after each other.Except lonely,the disadvantages of singleton begin to appear with our ages added,most of us became more and more selfish, and we have to separately face more and more responsibility of society and family .
So,if permitted,absolutely I am going to have two chiliren

yes i'm the only child and i didn't like it when i was little. true, i got all the attention from my parents but i was also very lonely. had no one to play with because i was also a shy kid. i often said to my mom that maybe they should adopt a child so i would have a sibling but that never happened.

Yes I can understand that. I have two friend who are the only child to their parents. Even though they are married and have children they don't have any body to share their responsibility of their parents. The security you feel having a sibling is great.

i am an only child and even at the age of 46, i still miss having a sibling (it wasnt my parents choice, they wanted more, but nothing happened)...what i miss is the relationship that only a brother and sister or sisters can have...:-( thats why we had TWO kids! (both girls!)

The experiece of sharing, love, friendship and care you get from your siblings is great. My sister is my great friend with whom I can discuss and share everything.

I am not an only child in my family. I am the eldest of four and there are times when I wish I was an only child. It's hard to be the eldest and have so much more responsibilities and stuff. But I really like my siblings no matter what.

I am not the only child. I have 2 brothers but they are useless. I can't play with them when I was young. They just play together with each other. So, even though, I have 2 brothers, I still feel like I am an only child. When I was looking for friends to play with, I have to go to my neighbor house or to my cousins. Now, I have a daughter and she is an only child. Every time we ask her whether of not she wants a sibling, she always refuse it.

i'm an only child. At times, i will envy those friends of mine who has brothers or sisters in the family. but although so, i am delightful of being the one and only in the family. because i tend to get all the attentions from my parents. (:

FORTUNATELY no, im not. in fact, i have got three other sisters, but i am the only boy. i think that being the only child is very very bad. i am very glad that i have three older sister, and now i cant imagine my life without them!!! i get along with them very good. gee, im glad that i am not the only child.
