im lucky if he gives me a chance to refuse lol!
if he wants to be petted he usually jumps up and stands between me and what ever i am doing and doesnt back down until i give him the attention he wants lol!
most of the time tho he just comes over and plonks himself on my knee and refuses to move lol!

Hi There,
I would say I usually give in. You are right, they are hard to resist most times. The problem with my cat though is once you start, he will never leave you alone. He will start meowing very loud and scratching and jumping up and down on me. It taks about an hour for him to finally go away!
cheers,

We just added an adult neutered male cat (Yossarian) to our household. He thinks he's the "Great White Hunter". He's so goofy, he's irresistable. Petting him is as addictive as heroin...I think I get higher off it than he does. As independent and aloof as he tries to be...one scritch behind his ears and he turns into a purring tub of goo.
God...I LOVE cats!

Oh, I absolutely have to give in. My cat is made of sweetness and love, and deserves all that attention ;) Even when I'm busy, I still find myself putting aside whatever it is and picking her up and cuddling her. It seems to satisfy her for a little while... but never for long!
