I'm not a prude but am selective on the things I watch and allow my little guys to watch (their 13 and 10).
Well we were at a movie and saw the previews of the Adam Sandler movie "You don't mess with the Zohan". It didn't seem too bad and at the time it was given a regular PG rating. Well I should have seen it before I took our 13 year old.
Although it wasn't completely horrible. I don't think it was age appropriate. Even though they changed the rating to PG-13. We left the theater after 45 minutes. I just couldn't do it anymore. I felt bad that I stayed in the theater for as long as I did.
Now I know that our children probably hear worse things from their friends. But as a mom I figure if I have control over what they watch I'll be very selective.
Any thoughts on the Zohan?

I haven't seen the movie yet but will definitely catch it when it shows. I'm legally an adult so I don't mind if the characters use bad words or if things get a little kinky. It's just a movie anyway. And at the end of the day I'm smart enough to know that if there were inappropriate words or gestures used in the movie, then it should stay in the movie. Too bad you didn't like it as I'm uite excited about seeing it.
