What would you say is the most relaxing background for the computer?

The background doesn't really matter to me as long as it isn't anything moving. It irritates me when I see something moving on my background. Usually I take the standard background which was already pre-installed on my computer. Sometimes, if I want a change, I use some picture of groups or music bands as background, though this won't happen very fast. Greetz

How about a relaxing waterfalls... Or a aerial view of a small inhabited island. Maybe even a picture of a forest at autumn. Nothing is more relaxing than a picture of a great smile form someone you love and who loves you in return.

That really is a beautiful picture to look at. Since I'm on the Law Of Attraction thing I did a virtual composite vision board to represent things I want in my life...LOL I have a screenshot of it here...I have vision boards all over the place so one day thought, heck, why not have a virtual computer one as well?

When I would close all of my browser, the thing that I would see in the background are two cute little angels standing on a heap of cloud, the male holding a heart-shaped paper and the female holding a stalk of rose. The male is kissing the female's forehead. And you would see that the heaven they are in is all PINK! I am a male, so why PINK? Actually I am not the one who set up the wallpaper, its my co-worker who used to sit here. This is originally her desk and her computer and I just don't find time changing it. I don't think I would ever change it.

it depends on my mood..There's time when i want this and that..im used to put lots of pictures then sometimes it's colorful.:) but now im using lindsay's.^_^

Background of nature, seashore is pleasant to eye. It relaxes you and most especially it's like you are there.

like you i also want some peace of mind despite the busy days, i spent more than 10 hours in front of a computer at work and in my home so i need to have something to see that could make me smile, something refreshing and cool to the eye so i prefer to put a landscape or some shot of nature for my wallpaper. those green leaves or blue sky makes my day better and ease the tiredness in my eyes for a while.

Hi latoyahall, The background of my laptop now is my picture, taken in the house of mys sister in malaysia, my husband put it there, because he like the picture very much and i like it too, but before it is a piucture of a nature and it is very relaxing to see green colors. thanks and have a nice day.

There are three suggestions I have for you.First,put a picture of someone dearest to you.If you are a sentimental person, this could help especially if you work abroad or miles away from your family/friend.Second, select a serene desktop wallpaper. Notice that the color soothes your eyes and eventually relaxes your mind in a way.Third, if you are planning a major buy, put a picture of it in your desktop and while you stare at it and imagine that you are gonna be able to buy it in the near future, the feeling will be great.Hope it helps.

I would choose seaside/beaches as my wallpaper, especially the Mediterranean beaches. It helps to calm me and somehow release me from my daily stress.

okay so as far as my taste is concerned i prefer a infant baby picture that make me very relaxed.... i love babies
