POPCORN how do you eat it?

funny question isnt it? well i cooked popcorn yesterday for me and my child (he is 2 1/2) will be watching dvd tarzan. while we were watching i am getting my self a handfull of popcorn i saw my child just getting a piece and he will only get another if he had swallowed the one inside his mouth. when i ask my wife if she wants some popcorn she get a piece also and ate it, and she just get a piece again if she wants more. i mean okay yes i am a guy so i eat popcorn that way. but can you eat your popcorns that way piece per piece? or you are that kind who eat a handfull and stuck it inside your mouth? har har har

Hi there se7enthbird, I am eating it by couple of pieces at a time...Most of the time, if you will pick it up, it will carry 2 or 3, that is my way...LOL! My husband and my dad too eats like you too and that is understandable..LOL!

Thanks! I agree with you..it will be a big turn off watching a lady who is eating with a full mouth! LOL!

thank you for understanding us har har har, but it is also understandable if ladies or women eats popcorns piece by piece. i cant imagine seeing someone who is so pretty gulping a handful of popcorn... har har har it would be a big turn off. you have a nice avatar capricorn, and thanks a lot for the response

How funny se7enthbird. But you know, we have actually had this discussion in our home. You see, believe it or not, I eat my popcorn one kernel at a time. I happen to love popcorn and I guess I want to savor the taste. But every other person in my household eats their popcorn by the handfull. And wolf it down.
They are missing so much of the wonderful taste of popcorn by doing this. You have to really chew it to get the full flavor.
But anyway, they always tease me because I usually still have some popcorn left at the end of the movie and they have finsihed their bag before they get through the previews. Oh man, I can't believe we're having this conversation.lol

that is what my wife told me and she even said that was what remy said. do you know remy? the rat at a disney cartoon ratatoille.... i hope i got the spelling correct. i cant believe that she is telling me what she learned from a rat. har har har.she said that remy said the we have to chew and savor the taste of anyfood we put inside our mouths. well it is funny hearing her say that but i agree that is it true. thanks a lot for the response

I'm like you, OP. I eat handfuls at a time. I used to be a more one-piece-at-a-time kind of person, but that was when I was a kid and it was more fun that way. Sometimes I'd just use my tongue to pick up a piece and eat it and eat a bowl of popcorn like that.

cool username you have there pal. yes kids really do eat it piece per piece for some piece are really big that it occupies the whole small mouth. but when you are an adult already you can control the flow of food inside your mouth and we can chew it correctly. well after commenting to a lot about popcorn i want to cook some for me and my son again. thanks a lot for the response

It is actaully a good idea for a 2 and a half year old to eat one piece at a tme and not put anohter one in his mouth until the one he had is swallowed as popcorn is a chocking hazzard.
I am picky with popcorn I eat it one piece at a time I pick out certain ones by the way they pop to eat them.

yes it is one of the foods that are chocking hazzard, i find that wonderful to see my child take one piece at a time. i love popcorn with flavors too. my fave are caramel and barbeque and my child loves cheese. thanks for the response

Well I am a female and I just chuck it by the handful. THen again my hands are smaller then my fiance's and he does the same. Sometimes I will get it piece by piece, but it depends on how hungry I am. Have a Great day.

ahh yes female hand are smaller than male hands, and so is my two year old son. his hands are much smaller than i have. har har har. thanks for dropping by i got something from you. it also deppends on the hands. cute response.

now that is a good point. it is tiring to get piece by piece and it will lead you to eating a big gulp afterwards. i think that is much of an easy way to eat a gulp than to eat it peice by piece.... well that is if you are not going to say something to the person you are watching movie with. har har har thanks a lot for the response
