A lot has changed sine the last post, creature hunting has been added, a more accurate galaxy map, new ships have been added, new equipment uses. They have also made a decent tutorial to help new people out. NPCs can now gain experience and use weapons and armor. Soon they will be adding hidden systems to find for new land opportunities.
It has grown quite a bit since then with a lot of new players. I have also changed groups and started a new faction called Arkanian Trade Syndicate. We are about to government.
Part of the fun is the community. I believe getting on an IRC chat program makes a world of difference. I have made some really good friends. I have known some for 8 years and have met a few others in real life.
Graphics are still cheap, but its still free to play. They have upgraded the system graphics as well as traveling graphics.

Thia game is reminscent of the games that were popular 10 yrs ago, the style of the graphics and the format.
Looks interesting enough, not close to anything they have now due to limited budget and technology, but nonetheless a great effort by fans for the fans.
