there is talk that myspace and any other place will start trying (or has) make it against the law for you to put in false info in the account info area.. so if you use a different name etc you could go to jail.. i think this is wrong.. i think people need to be able to hide or have a different place to where they wouldnt be identified to where they could be themselves and if its not hurting anyone who cares?? its all because of that suicide a little while ago with the teens that tricked her with the false profile that she fell in love with..

this is very wrong! Sometimes I use the name Kayla Starshine, because well, Kayla has been my nickname for years, one of my friends that's what she calls me all the time. And Starshine, I just added it because it sounded cool. But I use a fake name to have a little anonymity. But other than that I have real pictures and my info is real including location. I think it is dumb if they do this! I do think it's horrible what happened with that girl, I wish I could kick that woman's butt for what she did to the girl. But to mess with everyone because of that, it's wrong. I see maybe having to put you real state in and age and stuff. But no matter what, they can't really enforce this stuff, I would think the only way they could is to force users to put in a credit card or something, and that is an impossibilty since a large population are teenagers, that and I know if they did it I would be out of there in a second! LOL

I cant quite see the point of it ?? .. Do they think makingit illegal will help ?? .. people will still fall in love with fake people.. rules always have been broken, they will be messed around with if not broken this time as well. And i do agree, some people prefer privacy .. some do not want to share their personal info .. hasnt that they been preaching in the TOS when we joined ?? .. It was one incident .. but making this law because of it might lead to many other incident. We do not live in a perfect world, people will use the personal info gained about otherst hrough this for their own motives .. stalkers will have a ball.
