i have heard that mars has some simulation of life like activity.do you think life would be there? after all, life is an optimum amalgamation of various chemical elements. the similar physical conditions are mandatory.

life cannot exist in mars.it has no oxygen and neither carbon dioxide.it has no vegetation,it might have frozen water inside which cannot melt as the temprature there is about -120 degree celcius.it was like earth a million years ago but now there is only sand and rocks and i dont think any life can exist there.until now no life expectency of life is estimated.

I think it quite possible that living organisms can exist elsewhere in the universe. At what stage of evolution is the next big question.
I think we are alone among developed life forms in our planitary system as we would have had experience of traces of their existence before now.

I truly hope so, I'd hate to think that planet earth has cornered the market, so to speak. There's probably life out there that we can't even detect with all of our science and knowledge. Life that is so different than what we would considered to be life. It's a neat thought anyway. Good question.
