Hi, on my oldest PC I couldn't install the game, because of video card. Now I have a laptop dual-core, and I'm planing to try it again. I always taught that's the best idea for an online game, especialy because it gives the possibility to invest realy money, too. I was very excited when I first heared of it. I would be glad to know more about it. Thanks, ArkhAnum

Hi Arkhanum! I tried SL in the past, but stopped using it because I was spending too much time on it! It really is a "Second Life",chatting with Online friends,Meeting new People, going to different places, creating or buying stuff,Hanging out in clubs or bars..You can go in as a visitor (Which I'd recommend,at least until you decide You want to go further),as I did, create an avatar, learn how things work in a training environment, then move on to SL "Proper".Firstly, and importantly, You don't need money to use SL.There's so much useful free stuff available for the choosing...Of course, part of the setup is that businesses are being set up and run,so some payment may come into it,but basic existence in SL is free. You don't need to eat or drink, clothes can be got free, unless you want designer stuff, and you don't need special clothing-you can wear jeans and a t shirt 24/7 if you want! Appearance can be Important to some people,so they choose more photo real "skins",outfits,"makeup" and hair fx,etc...but again, that can wait until you decide you want to invest in the world..SL is a good way to follow up online interests..There are Gamer environments, featuring many genres..social environments,bars,clubs..One Bar I've visited in Belfast,Northern Ireland, has a virtual counterpart in SL!I hope You enjoy your visit!

Hi, sorry for the inlate answer, I was out, in "the real life" :-)). Thank you for your detailed answer, it is very usefull! I have subscribed this afternoon to the SL, now I'm waiting for the mail with instructions - it may be necessary to ask it again, maybe something's wrong with my website's emailing services(I already sent an email from my yahoo mail, to the website's email, to test it). Anyway, I'll try the game, because to me sounds very interesting, as I wrote it, I'm verry excited about strategical games, also the game itself and the graffics, the ways in which the programers has resolved different problems. Thank you again, have a very nice week-end, ArkhAnum

I tried second life but didn't have any luck, I got on there and I could see things, but it was quite slow and I kept getting hung up even though I have a broadband connection. I am on a 2 year old laptop, which really isn't that old, but who knows, maybe on a desktop I'd have more luck. The game I have had luck with is called There. That one also opens up possibility to design and sell custom clothes, decorations, houses, etc. It is pretty cool, and the clothes are amazing there. Almost too amazing, when I buy too much! LOL

Hi, thanks for the response! It's interesting, after my post, I discovered more discussions about that, but all is saying that the game is boring. For me, the idea of the game is great, it is true, also, I was always passioned by trategy games like AOE, or Caesar, or Civilisation, etc. Thanks again, ArkhAnum
