Hi there,
I have not tasted mangosteen till now. I have seen that in the shops in chennai but have not bought it till now. Now that you have mentioned that it is very tasty, let me try and then tell you..
I know that it has a lot of antioxidants and other good properties which are helpful to maintain our health. It can prevent diseases like alzhimers, cancer, heart problems and also depressions etc.. The only negative point is it is low in vitamins and minerals.. all the others are good points..
So I'll buy that and try as soon as possible and let you know.. Ok

The fresh fruit is one of my favourite fruit. There is plentiful in my country but it is sold at a very high price. I could buy it cheaper in the provinces though. I really like the taste of it. The fruit has a thick skin and you have to open it by squeezing it through your two hands and it will open up. The seeds are the fruit itself the soft white covering of the seed is the one you eat but not the seed itself. Funny thing about that fruit is that the skin is thicker than the fruit itself.

Oh my, I love this fruit. It's really sweet but it's expensive. I could eat a crate of mangosteen in one sitting. LOL. The best mangosteen I've tasted was the one that comes from Davao here in the Philippines.

Yup i like it. ^__^ Its taste is often compared to under ripe strawberries with the hints of sweet orange. It's easy to fall in love with the mangosteen's taste. It does have an interesting drawback: the juice stains clothes, and as a result, mangosteen was banned at several hotels across the world. Hehe
