Do you believe in love at first sight?

According to me love at first sight is just a sort of infatuation. Love gradually grows, it is never instant. You start loving a person truly only after getting closer or knowing more about the person. Love at first sight often happens in the case of beauty. You do not love the person, but the beauty of that person. Beauty is a temporary factor, what do you say?

I never believed that there is a love at first sight. That is just an attraction not love. Or maybe it was lust that you feel and not love. Love doesn't happen immediately. It is being worked out and formed. It is something that grows and develops. Although there will people who are married now that say "The time they saw their partner, they knew they will love them for the rest of their lives". Maybe true, but the fact remains that they were just guessing that time they saw their partners and hoped that the love they think will work. So love is still something that must be worked by two over time and not just by the first meeting when both your eyes met. Only in movies that thing happens.

Yes I think it is only possible to really love a person after you get the opportunity to know more about character of the person.
Love at first sight is probably an just a convenient concept to explain why one is attracted to a stranger. But obviously it is also true that one needs to have a physical attraction to begin the process of interaction with your new found friend.
Only after a closer encounter will you realise how much or how little you may have in common. If it does work out then it is easy to say that love at first sight is the reason why the relationship lasted.

Well, there is such a thing especially if you believe in God, in Love at first sight, or God bringing you the person in your life you are meant to be with to where they are the only ones who matter no matter what.
In the case where I met my husband, I would say even though we did not know each other, it was God bringing us together as that was the man I was supposed to be with. The day I met him God told me I would meet him, and that was exactly 10 yrs. ago today. Even though we have our rough times, I would not trade him. So yes, I feel all things are possible.

I guess you can't call it love at first sight because it is like you say basicly a first impression and physical attraction. It can grow from there and physical attraction can be pretty strong. When I first saw my fiance I was strongly attracted to him and vica versa and we went out and got to know each other and the feelings we had grew as we dated and got to know each other. You could refer to it as love at first sight because we right away both had strong interest in each other, but if you can call it love? Perhaps 'crush at first sight' is a better word?

I believe in LUST at first sight and attraction.
Love does not come until you really know a person a while. People need to know the difference between love and lust? When you love a person, you know their thoughts and life plans and how they behave. Love means they are your companion already and if they were to get sick, you would stay and care for them.
No..I do not believe in love at first sight. Maybe attraction.

I used to believe in love at first sight but then when I really think about it, it doesn't make sense at all. How can you fall in love with someone who you don't even know? You don't even know that person's qualities or anything. So it would be more like attraction at first sight. That I would believe in. But love is something else. It's something that you have to work on so that it can grow and become strong.

I believe it maybe was happened on someone and will be bappened on others, but I don't believe in it.
you know people have different physical condition and family, live in different surroundings and got different education of course. It's a story for two person who have different background to meet the agreement of love, and the loveing is ambilateral. There are tiny opportunity for so similar two to meet.

Love at first sight...lol. I don't know...never I've been inlove a t first sight. I might say that there wa a time that I admire a persona t first glance, precisely it's a physical attraction so I don't know if it can be called love. To some it faded but to some it blossoms and becomes fruitful.
As for me, no situations that made me fall inlove at first sight.

No one can fall in love without getting to know the person. Looks alone can't be enough. Looks can be deceiving. A person might like ones looks but, their personalities might clash. So, I believe in getting to know a person from the inside instead of what I visually see.
