i mean your real name, not your user name in mylot. ok, it's a gift, of course. your parents wouldn't choose an ugly name for you . i believe that they thought that your name is the best name they could think for you.
but, to be honest, do you really satisfied with the name they gave? or you think you deserve a better name?

I've never liked my name, not my first name and not my middle name either. I was named after my mother's half sister, who is a lot younger than she is, and I guess my mother had strong feelings towards her or thought it was a nice name. We've never discussed it but I wish my parents had made a different choice.

How are you today sutanhartono? (is that your real name?)
I was hate it the 'dian' this name have been sold all over the place. But at home, my baby name is not 'dian', but 'didin' i even more hate this name.
Looks like a boys name and a comedian name. But then i have this cute male nephew who can't call me 'tante didin'(bleh) but only 'didi'. I think i like it! i don't know may be because a cute boy say it or else.
But didi kind of suits me, remember the cartoon "Dexter and his lab" I am the sister didi. Somehow,.. she just like me. Annoying, sense of art and i like disturbing my little brother.
Happy posting brother!!

Absolutely.. i am satisfied.. with my name.. it is really really good. But of late, my parents themselves are asking me to make a subtle changes in my name.. linking my name with that of Numerology and other beliefs.. But i refused.. saying that..i have been called with this name for more than 35 years.. and never will change it..

OH~~
I love my real name. It's great,at least I think so.
But,you know, today is a international day.so,maybe choose a english name is very important.
You know,we have totally different culture,so,maybe it's also very difficult to choose a english name.
HAHA~~
That's my opinion.
I'm tivon,it's my english name.

I detest my real name. I got made fun of my first and last name all throughout school.
When I started working and meet new people and friends , I always introduced them with my nickname. My spouse knows my real name but he calls me by my nickname.
I feel more confident with my nickname. Some people don't even know that my nickname is not my first name and just only a nickname. If I had money to change my name, I would.

My real name is Jing and I am satisifed with it. It'e easy and sounds well. It means silence in Chinese. I guess when my dad was waiting for me to be born in the hospital. He saw the "silence" sign on the wall in the hospital. And therefore he thought out this name for me.
I love China

I like my name too much. Now when choosing names for our kids we can imagin the feeings of our parents. Really I like my name & thanks for my parents for giving me such a best name. I think parents always choose a good name but others make it ugly nickname.

yeah i am. aside from the fact that my mother gave it, im satisfied with it. i was named after my mother and the month i was born. im contented with my name becuase it is unique, i havent known anyone who got exactly the same name as me. if given the chance to change my name, i would still remain with my current name. it's already a part of me and that makes me known to people.

I am satisfied with my name even though it was a last minute decision by my father. My mother and father had decided my name would be Cassandra when they found out they were having a girl. When I was delivered my father looked at me and decided to change it. He didn't have an explanation as to why he just knew that he wanted a different name for me.
