Are you here for the money?

Answering my own question, I came here in hopes of making money off it, but I discovered how slow-paced it was, and I try to just use MyLot as another forum, like all the communities I've joined in the past. The money still makes MyLot look more appealing, but I think I would stay even if the money went the way of the dinosaur.

At first I came on here for the money because I needed some cash but then when I saw what this was about I started to really like coming on here and probably would even if no money was offered. But the cash is just the icing on the cake and it helps a bit here and there.

i originally signed up because of the money, but since i have been here i actually find it relaxing and it gives me soemthing to do during the day that i actually enjoy.so i would stay here even if the money was gone.

I actually did join Mylot for the money, but I stay because I enjoy the discussions. I have actually only gotten paid a couple of times because I cannot be online all that often because of my job. I do enjoy reading, responding, and even starting discussions here though. This is the first forum that I have belonged to.

I come here not only for the money, but also for the pleasure to talk with people around. Even I don't come here, I will also spend a lot of time on other forums without any income, so why not make some money and have a good communicaiton?
But I find that MyLot is still too small a community, hardly to find a common topics.

Well yes, i came here for this 10$ to start my own site ;)
Anyways after reading that usually people respond that they came here just to have fun, the more you see them, the more you see thats its not really right.
They way people post here, the way everything is written you can see that most of the people here came to earn the extra 10$ , and even if its not , its sure is great acomplishment to get those 500+ posts and earn your 10$ ;)
I guess with the time people just come here to talk with their friends, but those who are relatively new 100% are money makers.

Agreed.
But a lot of us are just looking for ways to earn some online cash to spend on MMORPGs or some other online purpose, like that site of yours. In my case, I'm either giving the money to my friend to help him pay off some online debts or using it to get something I may need in the future. Only time will tell. (It'll be a long time before I even get $10 from MyLot.)

I like the outlet that this site possess, but I don't think I would have arrived here without the thought of money on my mind. Like you I came in hope of an extra source of income but what I found was a great way of discussing topics of personal interest with new people that I otherwise would have never spoken with.
