I'm so excited for Pixar's new movie. I love Disney and Pixar and those cute animation movies. xD
I heard on the radio, and read in my local news paper that critics are saying Wall-E is better than Finding Nemo! Everywhere I've looked Wall-E is getting really good reviews. My mom is getting free reward movie tickets from her Disney credit card so she's going to take my sister and I to see it sometime. i can't wait. xD
Has anyone on mylot seen it yet? How was it?

I remember those movies! I loved his voice, it was a really cute series, the first being the best.

Short Circuit! Yes I loved those movies too. The first was of course the best.. I vaguely remember the others.
I hadn't even thought of that till you brought it up, but now that I'm thinking about it, Wall-E does look just like the robot from those movies. Funny, isn't it?

I doubt I'll see it as I have no children or grandchildren to take to the movies and I doubt my 6'5" husband would want to accompany me.
I'll wait until it comes out on DVD and get it from NetFlix then. It sure does look cute.

Nope, we're pretty secluded and no family around with kids either.
If I wanted to see it that bad, I'd go anyway. I'll save the money and wait for the DVD.

Yeah, most movies I can wait and see, and even the ones I'm really excited about.. I'm still hesitant to spend a lot of money on the theater, especially when hubby and the kids just HAVE to have popcorn and soda and refuse to allow me to sneak some in.
But there are some cheapo theaters we try to go to now and then. Like the one stated in my post below this. It's a drive in that's doing a special this weekend. I forget how much it is for adults, but kids are only $2 each. Can't complain, especially since it's a double feature.

I took my mom to go see the Lion King when it came out, and I was an older teenager at the time. There were actually a lot of adults there without any children.
Although it is a lot easier to go with a child. Do you know any you could bring along? A niece, nephew, neighbor? Pick one up off the street? LOL J/K

Ever since I've since the trailer for Wall-E in Cars blu-ray, I've been eagerly anticipating it. I simply can't wait to watch it! Knowing it's a Pixar, it should also be pretty good. How'd your mom get a Disney credit card? That's so good getting free movie reward trickets, wish I had one, too. =)

It doens't look like it has much of a plot, and from what i can tell, there's really no writing, because there is no speaking.
Seems to be a mix of r2d2 and Johnny Five from Short Circuit, set in animation. In other words, looks like a weak excuse for Pixar to use their graphics skills, but not much else. It doens't look compelling to me at all.

I have not seen it yet, but we were planning to go either this weekend or early next week! Pixar usually comes out with some great stuff so I'm sure it will also be good! Plus with all the marketing they've been doing - I doubt it will be a downer!

We may go see this tonight. There is a special at the drive in theater this weekend only, a double feature of wall-e and get smart. If it is not raining too bad we may do this.

Hi,
I haven't seen it yet, but it does look like it will be a cute movie! Have to say I have heard good reviews on it as well.
Have fun and enjoy the time with your mom and sister watching the movie. Family time is sometimes hard to come by.
