Let me tell you this true story. My 78 year old mother, who recently moved from Canada to her home country Uruguay, has always loved doing jigsaw puzzles. She had just finished one when the porter of her building saw it and commented that there was somebody else in the building who liked to do them, so my mother told him to take the puzzle to the person as a present from her. A few days later Pepe, the 85 year old guy who got the present brought the puzzle back to her, nicely framed and it was that way that a nice friendship started between the two of them! Both had lost their partners a few years ago and they found each other thanks to the jigsaw puzzles! They found they had many things in common and spent many hours talking. Pepe has now started to renovate his flat, so has moved to her flat and when his flat is ready, she will move into his, as her rented flat will expire then. I think this story just shows you that there is always hope! I admire my mother, as instead of just complaining, she dared to leave a place she did not like, having no problems moving countries alone at her advanced age!
